Our programme
We believe that people who live, work and visit in rural places and spaces should be able to access high quality, accessible, creative and cultural experiences and our artistic programme aims to provide just that. We strive to create a programme of events and activities that are inspiring, engaging and enjoyable. Presenting a mix of theatre, comedy, music, talks, visual art and more, our mission is to enrich lives through great experiences.
Our role in the community
We are in the process of developing a community outreach programme that will build new and lasting relationships with various schools, community groups and residents. We want to create a range of pathways for local people to engage with and lead on the development of creative and cultural experiences.
Ulverston has a thriving, civically minded community, with a huge range of voluntary groups working on a range of activities and issues. The Coro offers heavily discounted rates for the hire of the building for any charity, not-for-profit community group or organisation, and we are proud to act as a centre for people to come together to organise, fundraise and celebrate.
